Health Promotion Internship

Catalog description
This internship is designed to provide opportunities for the student to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate health and physical education promotion programs. There will be a variety of community health placement options including coalitions, health departments, health agencies, and other local community health service providers. In addition, students will be working one-on-one with individuals in a variety of settings (corporations, agencies and other organizations). A minimum of 400 clock hours must be completed in at least one health promotion setting. Prerequisite(s): HPEP 466 Corequisite(s): None
