Methods of Teaching Secondary Physical Education

Catalog description

This course allows teacher candidates to develop their teaching skills while focusing on the middle and high school level of Physical Education. The course will address characteristics of learners, curriculum development aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning, behavior management, teaching techniques, use of relevant technology, and assessment of learning. Teacher candidates have a field teaching experience at the secondary level. Course fee: $15.
