Functional Biomechanics

Catalog description

This course provides students with knowledge about the biomechanical aspects of movement. Emphasis is on movement principles, analysis of movement, recognition of correct technique, and procedures for correcting inaccurate performance. Applications for both school and community setting swill be identified, and the Standards of Learning in HPE as well as other subject areas will be integrated. Prerequisite(s): HPE major, BIOL 207 or permission from program coordinator. Corequisite(s): None.
