Assessment in Health and Physical Education

Catalog description

This course uses theories, models, concepts, and the most current research to examine assessment and evaluation procedures in Health and Physical Education in PK-12 schools and a variety of public health settings. Motor and cognitive performance and affective behavior in the health and physical education PK-12 setting are examined through the use of basic statistics, grading procedures, and rubric construction. Individual and community health assessments are the focus during the health promotion segment of the course. Prerequisite(s): None. Corequisite(s): None.
