Catalog description
This course explores the theory and practice of oral history. By doing, interpreting, and using oral history, students will develop an understanding of key issues in the field including memory, narrative, the use of oral history, ethics, and community engagement. Students will explore a variety of interview techniques, digital tools, and transcription methods while planning and completing an oral history project. Prerequisite(s): None Corequisite(s): None
