1-4 credits The study of geographic information sciences in the context of an area of specialization such as, but not limited to the following: critical and participatory GIS, conservation GIS, global positioning systems, and geospatial techniques for environmental management. May be repeated for credit when the topic changes. Prerequisite(s): GEOG 275 with a minimum grade of C-, or permission of instructor. Additional prerequisites may be recommended, depending on the topic.
