Directed Teaching in the Secondary Classroom

Catalog description

Each student is assigned to work with a qualified cooperating teacher in a selected off-campus school setting. The student teacher goes to the school setting and follows the schedule of the cooperating teacher(s) for a thirteen-week period. Course fee: $300. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all major and professional education coursework; minimum cumulative and major GPA of 2.5; passing scores on all tests required for English 6-12 licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia Corequisite(s): None
