This course investigates myths representing diverse global cultures; compares and contrasts plot structures, themes, and character types within and across cultures; and traces myth’s relationship with religion and the arts. Prerequisite(s): One 300-level course in a literary period ( ENGL 325 , ENGL 327 , ENGL 335 , ENGL 336 , ENGL 345 , or ENGL 346 )
