Citizens are inundated with bullshit. Elected representatives, social media, think tank organizations, and your overly confident uncle ignore basic facts, economic foundations, scientific principles, and fundamentals of statistics. In this course, we examine the sources of bullshit in economic discussion, and learn how to integrate and apply key economic models/principles with scientific reasoning foundations to better detect and combat bullshit surrounding major economic issues.
