Internship in Early Childhood Education

Catalog description

The internship is a culminating 10-week application-based experience. Students will be placed in a public or private placement. In the placement, the student will apply learning from previous coursework. The internship experience is designed to meet students’ future work goals. In each placement, a cooperating teacher or community mentor as well as a university supervisor will serve as facilitators to help ensure student success.(C or better in all other required ECED classes) Course fee: $300.
