Catalog description

This course is an overview of communicating and collaborating with all members of a child’s instructional team and the varied influences that impact a child’s learning and development. Emphasis in the course is on legal, ethical, and policy issues relating to education; theories and models of collaboration; effective assessment practices that include families; developmentally appropriate instruction that involves families; diverse family structures; collaborating with colleagues and working as part of a team. (C or better is required in all ECED courses.)
