Catalog description

This course engages students in the critical analysis of a contemporary issue relevant to democratic citizenship through the application of knowledge and skills related to aesthetic expression. Through an immersive learning experience in the San Francisco Bay area and associated work both pre- and post-travel, students explore how messages surrounding a marginalized community impact their perspectives, voices, and place. Students may take only one of the following courses: CTZN 366, CTZN 369. Prerequisite(s): Completion of FAES and FHCI Pillars Corequisite(s): None *Fulfills Civitae Core PAES SI
