This course introduces the students to the area of victimology. Students will explore the causes, effects, and societal responses to victimization, the relationship between victims and offenders, as well as the social, psychological, and legal aspects of being a victim while engaging with contemporary theories. Prerequisite(s): CRIM 100 with grade of C- or higher
