Catalog description

Learn the essentials of creating a book in this basic hand binding class. This course will include creating a variety of blank book structures, developing sound construction methods, and mastering binding skills. From the pamphlet stitch to a flatback sketchbook, a variety of fundamental books will be constructed. Bookbinding is designed to compliment all concentrations offered in the art program. (Course can be repeated for up to six credits.) Course fee: $70. Prerequisite(s): None Corequisite(s): None
