This advanced music theory course is designed for songwriters and producers, focusing on the jazz idiom. Students explore fundamental musical concepts such as chord/scale relationships, bass pedals, substitute chords and harmonies, and various jazz styles. The course also introduces students to a more detailed approach to jazz improvisation.
