Teaching a BSSW/MSW Course

Catalog description

This course will engage students in a critical discussion and demonstration of social work education. It calls for the exploration of knowledge- based conceptualizations aligned with skills needed to teach at the Bachelor's and Master's levels. Students will have opportunities to design lesson plans and grading rubrics and create course syllabi and teaching. This course prepares students for opportunities to teach at the adjunct level and/or to apply to full-time faculty positions.
