Catalog description

This course will engage students in a critical discussion of both local and global human rights and social justice issues. To prepare students to play a significant role in responding to the needs of individuals, families, and communities, course topics will include domestic and international sex trafficking, health/mental healthcare, immigration, poverty, sexual orientation and gender identity, gender-based violence, juvenile and criminal justice, and economic, social, and cultural rights.
