Human behavior and the social environment (HBSE) I examines the human within the micro context. The course integrates multiple theories and knowledge of bio-psycho-social development to understand the individual within the larger environment. The course focus is on the individual yet uses a person-in-environment framework to view behavior in the context of the family, community, culture, and world. Pre requisites: SWK 201, BIO 22. Pre or Co-requisite: PSY 103
