Catalog description
This course introduces the primary concepts of entrepreneurship and innovation in sports. Students study successful entrepreneurs to identify distinguishable characteristics, behaviors, and skills. Using case studies, students learn how to identify gaps in the market, fund a sports business, structure a new venture, and manage growth. Prerequisites: SPM 200, SPM 201
