Catalog description

This course will cover the techniques of patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation of the cardiopulmonary system. Topics covered include arterial blood gas analysis, pulmonary function testing, and electrocardiograph interpretation. This course is open only to matriculated Respiratory Care students or those with permission of the Program Director. A letter grade of "C+" or better is required for graduation. A pre requisite of BIO 238 is required.
