Psychopathology I

Catalog description

An introduction to the core concepts and major research findings in psychopathology, including how major mental disorders are defined, explained, and classified by the DSM-5. The course will emphasize major etiological and sociocultural factors contributing to these disorders, as well as how to apply these diagnostic categories to clients presenting in clinical practice. Must be a student in the Doctoral Psychology program
