Catalog description

An introduction to organizational development (OD), which is the ability of organizations, large or small, to effectively, economically, and strategically make changes to improve their human capital and the overall organization. The course explores the history of OD, major trends facing the field, and ethical and professional issues while illustrating how the OD practitioner analyzes issues, gathers data, develops intervention processes and techniques, confirms a diagnosis, and implements recommended changes. Pre-requisite of GBA 512 or MBA 613 are required.
