Diagnosis and Management of Illness and Physical Conditions of Family II

Catalog description

This course is the second of three courses that focus on clinical decision-making skills in family oriented practice. Knowledge of advanced physical assessment, pathophsiology and pharmacology are the underpinnings for the course content. Critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning are reinforced as the basis of practice. The use of evidence based practice protocols and guidelines is an integral part of this course. Common acute and chronic conditions of adolescents and adults in the collaborative practice primary care setting are emphasized.
