Catalog description

This course provides graduate nursing students with the analytical tools and historical perspective to actively influence policy development affecting the delivery of nursing and health care in the United States and the world. The course is designed to explore current factors, policy determinants, and ethical issues affecting health care, specifically as they affect nursing at all levels of practice, nursing education and nursing and healthcare administration. Prerequisites: NUR 610, 612, 620 and 630 Corequisite: NUR 644
