Catalog description

In this course, students will draw on all material learned in the entire PA studies curriculum to complete a summative evaluation. This evaluation is comprised of a written comprehensive examination, an objective structured clinical examination (OSCE), and a practicum in the Division's simulation lab. During the OSCE and in the simulation lab, the student will demonstrate his/her ability to evaluate, stabilize, examine, diagnose, perform clinical procedures, and treat the simulated patient. The student will also demonstrate the ability to collaborate with other members of the health care team in providing culturally competent patient care. Page 249 Catalog 2025 - 2026 Prerequisites: Successful completion of MS 601, 602, 603, 604, 605, 606, 607, 608, 609, 610 ,611, 612, and 613. The pre-requisites of MS 504C, 508B, 511, 512, 513 and 514 are all required.
