Catalog description

This course examines health promotion and disease prevention, surveillance, reporting, and intervention, the public health system, patient advocacy, maintenance of population health, occupational health, mental health care, and the importance of behavior, culture, and society in regards to the perception of health accessibility to healthcare resources. Prerequisites: Successful completion of the fall semester of the didactic year of the graduate program in Physician Assistant Studies. The pre-requisites of MS 500, 501, 502A, 503A, 504A, 505 and 506 are all required.
