Catalog description
This course is part one of a three-semester sequence in clinical medicine. This course introduces the student to epidemiology, incidence, pathophysiology, signs, symptoms, pertinent laboratory studies, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of disease processes affecting the human body. Disciplines considered in this semester include but are not limited to Dermatology, Rheumatology, Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat (EENT), Pulmonology, and Infectious diseases. Prerequisites: Admission to the graduate program in Physician Assistant Studies. In order to register for this course, the student must be a graduate student in the Physician Assistant plan.
