Catalog description

What is the purpose of business? To whom and what are businesses obligated, and what are the nature of these obligations? This course helps students develop an understanding of the complex relationships between corporations, governments, and civil society and ask students to think critically about the role of business, especially as it impacts workers, customers, suppliers, communities and their members, and the environment. Students explore the complicated issues that managers and firms today face and the ethical dilemmas these issues present. Pre requisites: BUS 201, LAW 201 or LAW 212
