Practicum

Catalog description

The student, in consultation with the instructor will complete a minimum of 120 hours of fieldwork at a medical, social service or public health agency/organization. This is a culmination course designed to integrate theory and application acquired throughout the Health Science Curriculum. The student is required to attend scheduled course sessions on campus and satisfactorily complete all assignments as outlined in course syllabus. The student must be active in the Health Science or Public Health major, have taken HS 271 and must be a Senior in order to register for this course.
