Catalog description

An examination, discussion and exploration of laws, regulations and judicial decisions affecting the Human Resources manager. Case studies are used to develop an awareness of the legal problems facing the modern manager. Emphasis is on the federal agencies and laws, but areas of regulation reserved to the states are also discussed. MBA: Pre-requisite of GBA 512 or MBA 613 is required. MS in HRM: Co-requisite of HRM 722/MAN 722 is required.
