Catalog description

An introduction to the theory and practice of security analysis, including the valuation of individual securities, with emphasis on common stocks and fixed income securities, valuation of the stock market as a whole, and portfolio management and investment strategies. Investment risks are analyzed and measurements of risk, including duration and convexity, are examined. An introduction to derivative securities and international investments is included. Pre-requisites of GBA 511, GBA 520, and FIN 704 are required.
