Catalog description

A survey of the analytical tools and techniques used to evaluate the current financial position of the firm. Financial reports are analyzed for growth potential, solvency, earnings quality, investments, and forecasting implications. Topics include business and financial trends, proper adjustments of financial data, cash flow forecasting, estimation of debt risk premiums, and identification of likely candidates for acquisition and high bankruptcy risk firms. Required of all Finance concentration students. Pre-requisites of GBA 511 and GBA 520 are required.
