Catalog description

This course covers the theory and practice of Principles of Geometric Modeling and finite element method; interactive CAD and CAE software tools. CAD and CAE applications in materials design problems covered for different applications. Design projects. The course introduces the overall framework for using the 3EXPERIENCE platform in modeling using different models. Three credits; two-hour lecture and two-hour laboratory. Prerequisites: ENGR 322, ENGR 341, ENGR 371, and ENGR 402
