ENGR 270
Multiscale Modeling and Simulation
Long Island University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
The course aims to deliver a review of various length-scale computational analyses related to materials modeling in both pharmaceutical and health engineering problems. Emphasis upon projects and exercises. Students will experience all the stages in the design and implementation of a system using a variety of computational tools at different length and time scales. They will be exposed to advanced aspects of modeling, programming, algorithm development, user interface design. This course offers a variety of projects for students to combine different computational tools by studying different applications. Three credits; two-hour lecture and two-hour laboratory. Prerequisites: ENGR 322, 323, and 330
