Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles of data science that underlie the data mining algorithms, data-driven decision- making process, and data-analytic thinking. Topics include learning commands, arithmetic operators, logical operators, and functions in the analytical languages, writing scripts, performing descriptive analytics, creating analytical graphs, and working and manipulating data sets using the two most popular analytic languages of R and Python. A pre requisite of DA 228 is required.
