Play Therapy

Catalog description

Provides students with the opportunity to develop techniques and methods of play therapy. Emphasis is placed on working with children, adolescents, and adults through individual group and family play therapy. Major topics include group play therapy, family play therapy, short term play therapy and sand try/sand play therapy. Additionally, diversity and multicultural considerations are highlighted. The pre-requisites of CSP 615, 649, 652, 654 are required as well as CSP 657A or CS 706.
