Catalog description

This course covers the most advanced features of the C++ programming language that are essential to the creation of complex structures and their applications in designing and developing programs using software engineering concepts : structures, objects and classes, function and operator overloading, collections, strings, recursion, file and string streams, pointers and dynamic data structures, inheritance and dynamic polymorphism, templates, exception handling, Standard Template Library (STL), and advanced C++ topics. Three hours lecture, one hour laboratory. (4 Credits) The pre-requisite of CS 202 is required.
