Neuroanatomy

Catalog description

This course will examine the structure and function of the central and peripheral nervous systems. Students will be introduced to basic concepts in neuroanatomy including gross and microscopic organization of the central and peripheral nervous systems, as well as their functional relationships. Special topics will be studied such as learning and memory, attention, perception, language, and executive functions, with a principal focus on applying this knowledge to clinical situations. Two hours lecture, 4 hours laboratory per week Pre requisites: BIO 122 or BIO 124
