Catalog description

This is the second part of a two-semester sequence on Human Anatomy and Physiology. Body structure and function of the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, lymphatic, reproductive and endocrine systems will be studied. The topics will be taught through lectures, class discussions, and laboratory sessions that include microscopy, virtual dissections and physiology experiments. Students will acquire an in depth knowledge of the relationship between structure and function, while developing the observational skills and logical thought patterns as a basis for application in future science courses and also in clinical real-life situations. Six hours of lecture/laboratory time per week. Pre-requisite of BIO 122 or 123 and BIO 237; 4 credits Pre requisites: BIO122 OR BIO123 and BIO237
