Laboratory topics include fertilization, early embryogenesis, cell fate determination, pattern formation, epigenetics, stem cells and cell- cell communication. Students will gain in depth understanding about how developmental processes are regulated by genes and their products, proteins. Three hours of laboratory per week plus collateral reading.
