Catalog description
A study of cellular and humoral immunology. Topics covered include antigen and antibody structure, the genetic control of antibody formation, cell-cell interactions, hypersensitivity, histocompatibility immunogenetics, transplantation, tumor immunology, autoimmune disorders and immune deficiency disorders. Three hours of lecture per week. Prerequisites BIO 122 or BIO 124; Co-requisite BIO 212L. 3 credits Pre-requisite: BIO 124 or BIO 122. Co-requisite: BIO 212L.
