Catalog description

An examination of the prevention and control of disease and the basic principles of microbiology, immunology and epidemiology as applied to personal and community health. The course teaches the basic concepts in preparation for health professional fields. Three hours of lecture per week. Pre-requisite of BIO 122 or BIO 123; Co-requisite BIO 205L. Not open to Biology majors. 3 credits Pre requisites: BIO 122 or BIO 123 Co requisite: BIO 127L
