Catalog description
A comprehensive study of the design and analysis of efficient data structures and algorithms in Python. The course provides the fundamentals of data structures and algorithms, including their design, analysis and implementations. Fundamental data abstractions include: linear lists; stacks; queues and deques; priority queues; multi-linked structures; trees and graphs; maps; hash tables; internal and external sorting and searching. Three credits; one-hour laboratory. Prerequisite: AI 602 A pre requisite of AI 602 is required.
