Catalog description
A study of the design and representation of information and storage structures and their associated implementation in a block-structured language; linear lists, strings, stacks, queues, multi- linked structures, representation of trees and graphs, iterative and recursive programming techniques; storage systems, structures and allocation; file organization and maintenance; and sorting and searching algorithms. Three hours lecture, one hour laboratory. A pre requisite of AI 207 is required.
