Catalog description

This course involves evaluation of visceral complaints, including reinforcing appropriate physical diagnosis, laboratory and diagnostic workups. It will familiarize students with natural approaches from chiropractic, and osteopathy to treating patients with visceral components to their clinical presentation including manipulative and manual therapies as well as nutritional support. The course provides management protocols utilizing an integrated approach. It complements the approach used in the Viscerosomatic Center. Students will be encouraged to investigate the literature about viscerosomatic effects and manual treatments affecting visceral through assignments.
