Catalog description

This course introduces chiropractic students to the principles and practices of a career in education with a faculty appointment. The learner will explore methods to enhance their ability to teach including curriculum design, theories of teaching and learning, instructional delivery and design, assessment, and ethical and legal issues. While exploring contemporary issues impacting the chiropractic profession, students will develop an understanding of scholarship, service, and governance while exploring their personal teaching philosophy and professional development plan. By the end of this course, the student will be prepared to set goals for their own professional direction in a future career in academic education.
