Catalog description

The Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) is a comprehensive assessment used to classify movement patterns, direct manual therapy and therapeutic exercise interventions. The SFMA, in part, is based on the concept of regional interdependence in that we must assess and treat dysfunction away from the patients primary location of pain. The SFMA will guide the clinician to the most dysfunctional region that is adversely affecting the movement pattern. The SFMA uses movement as its form of diagnosis.
