Catalog description

Diversified Technique 2 is a laboratory-based course which is a continuation of Technique 1 emphasizing chiropractic assessment and treatment skills as it relates to the lumbar and thoracic spine. A variety of adjustive techniques will be taught with theories based on Reinert Specific. During this course students will learn and gain knowledge of the specific biomechanics of the lumbar and thoracic spine subluxations and identify the proper chiropractic adjustment/technique for the patient. The use of static and motion palpation, X-Ray, postural and gait analysis and soft tissue considerations will be discussed. In addition, developing the psychomotor skills to perform lumbar and thoracic adjustive techniques.
