Catalog description

This course is the first of a four-part series designed to deepen students’ abilities to manage the health concerns of pediatric patients of all ages and levels of development. After discussing key components of a thorough pediatric history, students apply critical thinking and differential diagnosis concepts to case management of children with common pediatric health conditions. Emphasis is placed on developing clinical reasoning skills through case discussions.
