Catalog description

This lecture-based course introduces basic concepts and principles of pathology, especially etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical manifestations of the human bodys general response to disease. Additional topics covered include specific organ system pathology of the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems. The role of both appropriate and faulty immune system dynamics in various disease states is stressed.
